When GM released the 2007 Silverado, there was a lot to love- new interior, aggressive new styling, more power under the hood...
...but not EVERYTHING was an improvement. The front suspension on these trucks HATES to go low- binding ball joints, tons of camber, and even more bump steer- and the fact that the 07-12 Silverado is just begging for big wheels makes things even more difficult!
Well, count on Choppin' Block to come to your rescue with their complete front end kit! This package ditches the stock control arms, spindles, and even the spring/control arm mounts on the frame, and replaces everything with parts designed to get your truck low and riding properly.
The new tubular control arms come with Moog ball joints and Daystar urethane bushings. The new spindles are custom-cast to relocate your steering to reduce bump-steer. The new upper control arm mount is raised to help reduce camber gain, and gives you a perfect location for your upper air bag mount. KYB shocks with relocators, heim-jointed steering tie rod ends, and all new mounting hardware round out the package.
This is a BIG job, recommended for people who aren't afraid to cut their truck up in the pursuit of sitting flat on the ground!
